Q: How do I get my Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License?
A: Apply for your license at www.myfloridalicense.com. Have electronic fingerprints taken at a State approved vendor in your local area. Register for and complete our 63-hour classroom or online sales associate course and pass the end-of-course exam. Once your application has been approved and you have successfully completed the sales associate's course, you then schedule and pass the state exam. Once you pass the state exam, you are a licensed real estate sales associate.
Q: What are the requirements for Florida Sales Associate License?
A: You must be 18 years of age or older, have a social security number, have a high school diploma or equivalent. If you have had any criminal or licensing issues these must be disclosed on your application and any such disclosures are subject to state approval. If you have any criminal or licensing concerns please contact us prior to registering for the course.
Q: What are the exams like?
A: There are two exams: the end-of-course exam and the state exam. Both consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. Both exams are roughly broken down into 45 questions on real estate law, 45 questions on real estate principles and practices and 10 questions on real estate math. A 70 is required to pass the end-of-course exam. A 75 is required to pass the state exam.
Q: What are my costs in addition to the course?
A: You pay $83.75 ($19.75 with an approved financial waiver) for your application to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Typical fingerprint vendors charge from $50-$75 for electronic fingerprinting. After you complete the sales associate's course, you pay the $36.75 testing fee when you schedule the state exam. (The $36.75 testing fee is per examination session and the exam can be taken an unlimited number of times until licensure) Please note that these fees change.
Q: How do I apply for my Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License (step-by-step)?

Applicants must contact an approved vendor to have their fingerprints taken electronically. You must have your electronic fingerprints taken for your application to be processed. You must bring two forms of signature ID and at least one of the ID’s must have a photo. While not required, it may be convienient to have fingerprinting at your probable testing site. The nationally approved testing centers are Pearson VUE sites throughout the U.S. Pearson VUE’s website is www.pearsonvue.com/fl/realestate and the telephone number for electronic fingerprinting is 877-238-8232.
The DBPR will not schedule you for the exam. Once approved, you will receive an approval email. Check both your inbox and your spam folder for this approval email. Once you receive the approval email, you may then schedule the state exam.
Pearson VUE administers the state exam. Pearson VUE’s website is www.pearsonvue.com/fl/realestate and the telephone numbers to schedule your state exam are 888-204-6230 or 888-204-6289. You must successfully complete the course before taking the state exam but you may schedule your state exam before you complete the course. You may also call Pearson VUE for rescheduling of exam dates (earlier or later) contingent upon your schedule and actual course completion. You must present the course completion report and two forms of signature ID and at least one of the ID’s must have a photo to test at the Pearson VUE testing center. You should also take with you the following type of calculator: simple, silent, battery-operated or battery-operated plus solar (dual power) but not solar only, nonprinting, nonprogrammable and without an alphabetic keypad.

Q: Do you offer online classes?
A: In addition to our classroom courses and private training sessions, we offer the Online Real Estate Sales Associate Course including our ExamPrep video and audio files, the Online Sales Associate Post-Licensing course, and the Online Real Estate Broker Course including ExamPrep video and audio files. You can take the online courses from anywhere in the world. You will have 24/7 Access to the course and 24/7 Access to the Online Exam Cram Videos. You will take your end of class test at home on your computer.
Q: What is the price for the Online Real Estate Sales Associat e Course?
A: The price of the Online Sales Associate Course is $295.00. The course includes the online course approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Online ExamPrep Videos and the Exam Outline. The textbook (Florida Real Estate Principles, Practices & Law) is not included in the price of the course but is available separately for purchase as a textbook or as an ebook. Q: Do you offer help if I have passed my class test at another school but I can't pass the state exam?
A: Yes. We offer the Exam Prep for both RE Sales Associates and RE Brokers online with 24/7 Access. The Online Exam Prep is designed to teach you key concepts and fact you need to know to pass the state exam. We also private personalized training sessions by appointment only, based on weaknesses from prior course study and/or unsuccessful state exam attempts. The price of the On Demand Online ExamPrep for RE Sales or Brokers is $75.00 each.
Q: Do you offer help for the mutual recognition law exam?
A: Yes. While there is not required course for the law exam you must take to become licensed through mutual recognition in Florida, the Sales Associate ExamPrep Videos cover the material you will be tested on. For both students becoming Florida sales associate or Florida brokers through mutual recognition the Sales Associates ExamPrep Videos cover the material you will be test on.
